Final Project
Society has built an idealistic view of
how beauty should be perceived in a woman’s body that I find Impossible to
create without some plastic surgery now days. Woman goes to extremes just to
recreate the idealistic body. I would find it boring if every woman had skinny legs,
a small waist with a big butt, and C cup breasts. Nickolay Lam, Sheila Prae
Bright, Aleah Chapin, Jenny Saville, and Nancy Upton are the artist I picked
for my gallery. Each talented artist represented my theme to this gallery in
their own creative way by recreating a curvy Barbie to pictures of Nancy Upton
gnawing on wings.

Painting Puzzle
Basically what we did was paint a portrait of a painter. After we finish painting our portrait we traded paintings with another person. We cut up someone else's painting and paint a tree. The last step we did was give the painting back to the owner and the owner had to figure out how to put it back together.

Blanket
I feel like that poem made me feel a sort of distance towards my brother. The poem said that the blanket was big enough for 5 kids, but struggled to keep themselves warm due to not trying to get closer. That's how I feel towards my brother, in the past we were close. As we get older me and my brother grew apart. People say it's never too late to bring each other close again, but due to violence and family issues some people are better off away from you.
Animal
We had to make an animal that can travel quickly so this animals slithers is way around. He can store water in a pouch that he has under his mouth. He uses his beak to eat skeletons and when danger comes his way he changes color. His feathers changes colors and I guess you can say he looks like a half alligator / half bird. Most of the time he tends to be slow when he's not being chased or threatened.
Main group project
http://youtu.be/t6zGBCEzC-E
we were required to create a work of art using the elements of architecture, landscape, color, and sound in order to answer the question: What are we here for? My group and I answered this question by focusing on the wonders of childhood such as exploration, friendship, and all the little things that make our lives valuable. As we grow older, we grow out of our fascination with the surrounding world, and fall into a pattern created by society. We forget in our every living to appreciate the simplicities, and conform to a schedule of survival.

Group Project ex.
Demonstrates the childhood that we are trying to represent the importance in our project. We think that we are here for is to keep our minds active like children do and constantly learn everyday. We think that some people tend to get lost in the every day routine in the world and loses their desire to learn or be actively creative.
Making a print
I made a finger print stamp! I thought a print was something left behind like for example finger prints. I wanted to make it abstract with different colors and I used different fingers. In this painting I even used my toes. I had fun making a so called print, but we later found out what a print really is.

Project #1
For my self portrait I wanted to show my two faces that I show in the world. My artistic side is this girl that is driven to achieve and pursue the artistic lifestyle and continue to learn new ways to make art. she loved me covered in paint. My other half is girl with reasonability, she goes to work and school every day. She studies and spends time with her loved ones. I try my best to balance my two sides, but sometimes they cross paths.

No Hands
I made this with my mouth. This drawing maybe be simple, but it was so hard to do with my mouth. Even though this drawing is really bad I feel connected to it. I found an appreciation for art and how art can break boundaries in different ways. I also admire the people who don't have hands, but make better art than a lot of artists.
